Recruitment News Sites to Follow

While there are lots of resources available for getting corporate and economic news, I have found recruitment news sources to be a much smaller niche and wanted to share a few that I find helpful:

Recruiting Brief—primarily an aggregated service, this site curates recruitment news from a wide variety of sources (including, occasionally, our posts) from recruitment tech to marketing to HR and more. You can subscribe for free.

Recruiting Headlines—another aggregated service, Recruiting Headlines leans more heavily into recruitment tech and a free digest is available.

HRDive—This site is exclusively HR focused from learning & development to legal issues, benefits, DEI, and more. I like their format, which offers a quick summary as well as a “Deep Dive” option.

JDSupra—I’ve written about this site before because I subscribe to their Hiring and Firing newsletter for legal updates, but there is a wealth of other great recruitment news and information available as well.

Shortlist—Based in Australia, this site includes a lot of HR- and recruitment-related news, but a paid subscription is required in order to access the content. A free trial is available to help you evaluate the product.

SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management)—SHRM is a leader in workforce issues and innovation and provides a number of free email newsletters, including one for Global HR.

RCSA (Recruitment, Consulting, and Staffing Association)—RCSA is the main body for the recruitment and staffing industry in Australia. A free email newsletter, The Brief, is available.

REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation)—REC is the primary trade group for the recruitment and staffing sector in the United Kingdom. A host of resources are available; some are members-only and some are not. There are tabs for insights, news, policy, research and more.

No matter your geography or area of interest, there are plenty of solid recruitment news sources to follow with a variety of free and paid
